..^-^.. Hodja
His legendary wit and droll trickery were possibly based on the exploits and words of an historical imam.
Some of the stories have a moral, some do not. Some have to be read twice. Some are hilarious.
All will serve to remind us of ourselves.
Statue of the Hodja - Akshehir, Turkey

- "What do you want?" Hodja shouted down.
- "Come down!" replied the stranger, "So I can tell you."
Hodja unwillinging and slowly climbed down the ladder.
- Well! replied Hodja, what was the important thing?
- Could you give a little money to this poor old man? begged the stranger.
Tired Hodja started to climb up the ladder and said,
- Follow me up to the roof.
When both Hodja and the beggar were on the roof, Hodja said,
- "The answer is no!"

....Something that I like as a Biotechnologist....
Do you know what is Genetic Engineering?
Genetic engineering is a technique used by scientists to change the DNA of living organisms.
DNA is the blueprint for the individuality of an organism. The segments of DNA which have been associated with specific features or functions of an organism are called genes.
Molecular biologists have discovered many enzymes which change the structure of DNA in living organisms. Some of these enzymes can cut and join strands of DNA. Using such enzymes, scientists learned to cut specific genes from DNA and to build customized DNA using these genes. They also learned about vectors, strands of DNA such as viruses, which can infect a cell and insert themselves into its DNA.
With this knowledge, scientists started to build vectors which incorporated genes of their choosing and used the new vectors to insert these genes into the DNA of living organisms.
Genetic engineers believe they can improve the foods we eat by doing this. For example, tomatoes are sensitive to frost. This shortens their growing season. Fish, on the other hand, survive in very cold water. Scientists identified a particular gene which enables a flounder to resist cold and used the technology of genetic engineering to insert this 'anti-freeze' gene into a tomato. This makes it possible to extend the growing season of the tomato.

Can Can
The " Can Can" story tells us about married life. A husband is cheating on his wife, but at the same time he is hopping that the rendezvous does not happen.
Is it very IRONIC right...????
When he is goes to his secret meeting, something happens, his wife changes her usual daily routine from housewife with frigid attitudes as sewing and washing to a sexy dancer of Can Can.
This upturn of his wife changed the husband’s feelings. He stopped whatching the rendezvous, but it was too late for this— making of the meeting was too difficult and he needed to go to see the other woman.
However, he couldn’t forget his wife during any moment that he was with the other woman in.
This story called my attention to how the sameness days can turn married life sour and make it monotonous and tedious, and how dangerous it can be—such as cheating.
Also the story reminded me that the simple reconditioning of some attitudes could make a big difference in the relationship, and to try to pay attention to your relationship and how it is going so you won’t be surprised or disappointed in the future.
